Description

This was built for gaming!

Sold my gaming laptop and was after a small computer.

Built the pc with a big shuriken 3 at first as the noctua L12 is discontinued. Tried to follow a guide online to fit it into the case and even bought a noctua 12x15mm pwm fan for it but still didnt fit. Was lucky enough to pick up an L12 on ebay for a cheap price which arrived with all the parts and looked brand new.

Only recently received the noctua and i can now close the panel and im super happy about that.

Also caught a sale on amazon for a 1tb 970 evo and put it on the back of the motherboard. It does get hotter than the 970 evo plus i have under the heatsink.

Have just received the custom cables from pslatecustoms and now that everything is complete and looks nice, i decided to upload my build.

At first i was worried that i would have problems with temperatures. However, temps are all good and i would say to anyone considering these builds not worry so much about temps. I guess this is because it constantly gets fresh air from the outside as the fans are close to the panels and they don’t need to breathe from the inside of a big case.

I love it. I only wish there was a window on the side that the GPU is facing.

Me too but then it would have difficulties breathing. I don’t like the cases that have windows with holes.

True. I would sacrifice some cooling for looks pretty much anyday.

I changed the case for the Raijintek Ophion but in a non-tempered glass version and I am completely satisfied except for my CPU cooling (Black Ridge) and I had the opportunity to build a config in the Louqe Ghost S1, this box is awesome, I can only recommend it (+ Raijintek Ophion + Dan Case A4)

I never heard of the ophion. I have looked it up now and it looks really cool!

Correct me if I’m wrong but it looks quite a bit bigger than the ghost.

I believe it is an 11l case (Ophion no EVO) against 9.2l for the Ghost :)

How hot does the 970 get under the motherboard wanted to get the Sabrent Rocket M.2 4tb and put it in the tu150

It gets about 10c higher than the one under the heatsink at idle! Under load it gets much hotter. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re temperature sensitive about your ssd’s.

How hot does your M.2 Behind the motherboard get? I am looking to ditch SSD totally and go dual m.2 and I want to have my OS on the back M.2.

Will putting it in the back damage the M.2 im worried that ill break my pc

Did the L12 really fit your Asrock, or did you have to modify a lot? Noctua website says the fan and motherboard are not compatible.

I saw that after i bought everything and luckily it did fit for me without any mods and the cooler isn’t touching anything.
