This is my first custom built PC, I am very pleased with myself and with this computer. I am currently playing all my favourite games at max settings with killer frame rates. I went the AMD route because i built the PC primarily for gaming and some light graphic design I decided to build a PC after much debate if I should just buy a console or save for a good gaming laptop. Building a PC seemed the most logical answer so I went with that. I bought my parts slowly till I had the full partlist all purchased. Building my own rig has taught me alot about computers (i started from scratch with no idea how i was going to pull it off. The only hiccup to building this rig was living in Uganda, PC parts are not readily available here so i had to ship all my components even with the heavy taxes and shippings (nothing was about to stand in my way!).

I would like to thank PCpartpicker as this site was instrumental helping me come up with the partlist and for all guys that helped me in decision making on the forum. Honourable mentions to JackFrags, Hardware Canucks, JayzTwoCents, Linus Tech tips, Elric for the awesome vids, part reviews and all the knowledge they dropped; It helped me alot. A Youtube Video by JackFrags made me realise that I could actually achieve my dream of building my own rig.

Anyways, to cut all the chatter (and to avoid long 'How-I-Built-It' stories), here are my part reviews:

Part Reviews

This is the weak link in the whole system. It struggles with a few AAA games but runs fine and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. It breezes through other tasks with no hiccups. Will only replace it when Zen is available.

CPU Cooler

This bad boy is possibly the best bang-for-buck AIO. It was a breeze to install and works like a charm. keeps the cpu cooled. The CAM software from NZXT makes a really good product even better.

No problem whatsoever, keeps everything running well. I cannot risk OCing with it though.

Fast, reliable, and low profile. Nuff said. Planning to add more 8 Gig.

Was cheap when I purchased it. I only keep OS and my design programs on this. Fast and its the reason my programs are snappy.

FAST. Not enough for my gaming needs but no problem. More memory will be added.

Video Card

BEAST. What-An-Absolute-Animal!

A joy to build in. So silent with stealth looks to boot. I would recommend this case to anyone building a PC.

Power Supply

No problem. Keeps the PC running.

Thank you very much. May our frame rates be high and our temperatures low!
