Description

CPU- Got for my birthday, which explains its $0 price tag. Works well. I like the hyper-threading. Fits in because I will use this PC for more basic tasks. (Schoolwork, Web Browsing)

RAM- It's cheap, black, and functional. That is all.

MOBO- My original Asus motherboard died and I needed a replacement. This was the cheapest non H81 board. Good quality and stylish.

SSD- Super fast. Sequential reads/writes are 550/500. This is amazing for a 120GB SSD. Thanks Samsung.

CASE- Compact and easy to work in. Looks pretty nice too.

PSU- Got a great deal on this. 80+ Gold and very quiet. Nice so far.

How's the monitor holding up? I'm looking to pick up the 27" version.

Looks nice, how easy is the case to work in? I an thinking of going with it for my next build

The case is stylish and for a budget mITX, I would recommend. As for working in it, the only problems I had were routing cables around and SSD placement. It shouldn't be too difficult, but since it was my first PC build, it was a bit of a frustration. I ended up putting the ssd in the optical drive bay because the other places didn't work well with my SATA power cable.

Sweet, I probably will use it. It will be my first build too!

Good luck with that!

Are you planning on upgrades to this build?

RedWarning submitter 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

Possibly some sort of decent GPU in the future and another 4GB stick of RAM. If I start playing games, maybe a new HDD as well.
