I have been collecting parts for a while now and I finally had enough to build a basic gaming/workstation pc. fitting everything into the skeleton was a small challenge, but the semi-modular power supply helped a lot with that! other than that, I tried to fit a cm hyper 212 evo in there and it did not fit, so i went with the basic intel cooler feel free to rate and tell me what I should upgrade first! looking to get a gtx 66ti and a 600w power supply!

Sorry this is my own opinion. .. Terrible parts for how much you spent. .. ugly *** case .. no ssd...crappy motherboard. .. crappy case crappy wires... crappy videocard.. who knows about the ram.. best thing in your system is the dvd drive. sorry but this is prob the uglyist thing ive seen in a long time

the ram is all the same ddr3 1600mhz ram. dont know what you are thinking. it is in 3x4gb configuration

Ram speeds and timings and volts could be diff. Also running 3 sticks like that your running it in single channel.... lol your better off running 2 as dual ... and if this was givin to me for free I would have melted the **** down for the gold and silver

it came with a 4th stick, but it was dead and the 30 day period of return was up.

That case is definitely not meant for households with small children. I have enough trouble keeping them away from the power button on my HTPC. Not my cup of tea, but it is certainly different.

Parts list is ok, except for the imbalance with the CPU vs the GPU for gaming, but it sounds like you have plans to fix that in the future already.

I don't see any ram listed, but in the photo it looks like you have three of four slots listed. IN that configuration you are not going to be able to take advantage of the dual-channel capability. It doesn't make a huge difference, but something to consider.

As a gaming computer as-is, I would give a downvote, but for a sort of frankenstein work-in-progress, it gets an upvote from me.

Antec cases is the worst case ive seen. From DF series to the Hundred Series.

You can get a Fractal Design XL R2 for 110$ -.-

And i would suggest. GET A GOOD MOBO. Like Gigabyte For cheap MOBO or MSI or ASUS. Intel is good at CPU not at the MOBO. And if it is a gaming BUILD. Get a HIGHEND GPU.

Most likely the weird model Seagate drive combined with the $80 DVD burner and the Intel branded motherboard that seems to be way overpriced for what you get.
