Description

I built this PC primarily for gaming, but also to do homework on and surf the internet. I got most of the parts from Micro Center, but I got the graphics card from my friend (he upgraded to a 1070). I got the power supply on sale for $30 so that's why it's not modular (cable management was fun). I still need to get a monitor (I'm using a really old TV at 720p 30Hz), a wifi card, and a fan splitter. I will post benchmarks when I get a wifi card. I am using the Reddragon k552 and Mammoth.

Part Reviews

Motherboard

Great Motherboard, no problems so far.

Case

Amazing case, easy cable management, plenty of room, and a nice look. Very quiet, I can't hear it when I have my headphones on, and my keyboard is louder than it.

Keyboard

Amazing keyboard, especially for the price. Feels really nice and has a very satisfying clicky sound (exept for the spacebar which has a deep thunk sound).

Nifty little build you have here. I allways check the result page for builds under $500, it's where people get creative. +1

Wow, for so cheap, I'm impressed. You even got a theme going. Except that mobo. Grrrr.

It was the only B250 MOBO I could find at micro center with 4 RAM slots.

Is there a specific reason you needed 4? Unless you wanted quad channel memory in the future but ?

I am planning on getting some more RAM for quad channel.

Good build, but I think you should've gotten a cheaper case, considering you paid more for the case than the CPU. You could've used the money to get a cheap SSD as a boot drive

Awesome budget setup you have there. Enjoy your PC!

Not bad at all. Too bad you cant find 750ti with that price in a store. 50 dollars - must be really good friend. I would sugest grabing an SSD though when you have the money.
