Description

Hello, I am 10 years old and have built my first computer. I have also helped two of my friends build theirs. I tried to find a good balance between all the parts so I wouldn't have any bottle necks. I put Windows on the SSD and my regular storage on the HDD. I needed a computer that could do regular tasks and a bit of gaming. I know the motherboard might have been a little overkill but it leaves room for improvement. My teacher had an extra monitor laying around so he gave it to me. Soon I will get another one.

Any suggestions on how I can improve this build would be appreciated.

If you are a gamer, i think the Intel Core i5 was i little over killer, you could have used a AMD FX 6 Cores (90$) or an 8 Cores or even the Intel Pentium G3460, and then spent more on the Video card. Whit the money you spent was better a lower CPU and a cheaper motherboard, and an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB for 200.00$. but still you pc rocks :D

i5 for gaming is definitely not overkill...

I5 will save you time for future upgrades and the only thing that would be overkill in the intel I-core series would be an i7

Hey lucasb, im looking for a decent PC for work and I saw this one. It seems to match what I'm looking for, so i think im going to attempt building this. Did you run into any major issues with these parts? Thanks, great build
