Description

Just migrated from my 10+ years Athlon X2 dual core to my first ever gaming build. Had fixed a budget of around 700-800$ (55000inr) including monitor. At first chose NZXT H210 case but found good deal on thermaltake H200 snow which was my first choice before NZXT. Had everything In sight for I wanted to be able to play atleast at 1080p medium/low and 720p and light work stuff. Chose the Inno 3d gtx 1650 for that. The cpu well i3 9100f is what I found to be suitable could have gone for the ryzen 5 and even I5 9400F but the budget didn't permitted. The mobo I found a deal on MSI H310M gaming plus on amazon it was the only piece left at a seller so got that for 95$ (6700inr). This where I made a mistake the dimensions of the matx mobo were a little short for the case and there is a small gap now at the back and had to do away with the IO shield. For cpu cooling got the Be quiet pure rock slim and it fitted perfectly no issue. For case cooling I got 2 Deepcool RF120 white led and reinstalled the thermaltake case fan to the front panel. Got a cheap 4x4 pin splitter for the fans. For storage a Lexar 512GB SSD only. The PSU installed is the corsair CX550. The monitor I selected is the acer ED242QR 75HZ white curved. Hopefully will upgrade in future.

I looked at your system and saw you had the same videocard that i ordered, what are your thoughts about the videocard?

Yes I am satisfied. Its my first ever GPU and due to fixed budget (paired with i3 9100f) couldn't think about going for higher spec ones. While playing World of warships at 1920p (default) the dual fans make quiet a sound though and sometimes ships get frozen for 2 seconds one or two times other than that WoW is smooth. Just started playing Destiny 2 at 1440p no issues till now game runs smooth not much sound from the dual fans also. I guess these game don't demand high graphics will see whats next but I am hoping it will be a winner. Setting at a Lower res is always the safe spot for such gpus.

first of all thank for the reply. thanks for the insight, i had to do with a budget as well.

bought for my son the ryzen 5 1600, 2 x 4 gb ddr4 3000mhz, Gigabyte B450M DS3H and the inno3d gtx 1650. he was playing on a i5 2nd gen 3.2 ghz, 8 gb ddr3, gtx 660 2gb and asrock mainboard. Alot of people were saying buy a better videocard or second hand, but he has a 450 watt psu corsair. so i did not want to pressure the psu to much.
