Description

Decided to upgrade after a work bonus gave me the funds for a 1080ti. My previous paint job with PlastiDip was collecting dust. Turns out PlastiDip paint is like a dust magnet on computer parts. So while I painted my new ZOTAc 1080ti white to match my build I also sanded down my Asus TUF armor for my mobo and repainted it with Rustoleum Primer + Paint. I looove how the paint job turned out this time.

Acer XB321HK: I was lucky enough to trade some of my old computer parts for this beast of a monitor. Now I can game in glorious 4K!!

This is easily one of the better builds I've seen in awhile. Everything in the build flows perfectly, and the extensions you used fit the build absolutely perfect. +1

Easy +1 , small mods can make a huge difference !

I know! I was surprised how much like a new computer it felt after the mods. I love just looking at it sometimes lol

I'd suggest flipping the top fan to exhaust or getting a filter on it if you want to keep it as an intake.

I'm using my configuration because it works best with this case because airflow is already obstructed in the front because of the case front panel. But I think in the future I will probably get a filter for the top exhaust fan.

The top fan is currently set to intake, that's why it would require a filter. if you were having it as an exhaust, you would need to flip it and not need to filter it. unless you misspoke in your reply, just curious.

Yes, I understand. I have the top set to intake and the front set to exhaust. I am planning on getting a filter for it as I chose to have it be intake for a reason.

Probably one of the coolest simple themes I've seen in a build. Nice job!

Thanks man! I think the simplicity helps for sure.

Ya I hadn't been able to test it out much yet. I just ran 3DMark Timespy and was able to get actual temps that way. Under the load the CPU gets to 74 and the GPU gets to 69 but I would still say that is pretty good. I'm using my configuration because it works best with this case because airflow is already obstructed in the front because of the case front panel.
