Build

Project Azure

by Innovativemods

Description

This was another build done in the white version of one of my most favorite cases to date. Custom mount for 2 GPU's yet again that save the look and functionality of the case. My favorite set of custom cables I've done to date also. Love the blues and grey. Pretty psyched Anidees featured my build on their FB page!! Hope you enjoy this one as well

is the second gpu air cooled?

Innovativemods submitter 7 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Nah, both are blocked and on water

Now do you partition the flow so that both GPU's get cool water, to me it looks like the flow would bypass the first GPU completely and just get pushed around the second. Are there proportioning valves in there?

Innovativemods submitter 7 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Actually they get the exact same amount of coolant. The flow runs into the first block and then once it's full it's pushed to the second. Once both blocks are full the flow then exits both simultaneously. Fluid dynamics can be a bit tricky and sometimes things seem as though they shouldn't work when they do but both get cooled the same and temps are great between both cards. Usually you'll see a 2c Delta between the first and second and that's only because the first card sees more of a load than the second as a general rule. But no, no proportioning valves. Just good old fluid dynamics and good loop planning. Lol hope this helps

Normally I refresh the site every hour or so to see any new builds - to see so many high quality builds coming in at such a fast pace makes me think you're some sort of robot, jesus

+1 as always, nice work man!

LOL, these are builds I've done within the last year. I still have more. A few more actually. I do one about every couple weeks to a month. Some take longer than others of course but I usually do one a month for sure. Thank you again! I do appreciate the compliment!

I do have a couple of questions:

  • What are these builds for? Is it just a hobby, show builds or for a customer

  • In picture 8, I notice you had a two old AMD cards. Is that just for test fitting for a PCIe Riser?

Innovativemods submitter 7 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

I like questions! Some are personal, some are client but most are my own personal builds because I can't seem to find one I can stick with more than a couple days.LOL

The cards you see are old Radeon 8800 AGP cards I use for mockup. Those I've had for a very long time.

Absolutely love the Anidees AI Crystal Cube, it's such an extremely pretty case. Love what you've done to it, especially the modded vertical GPU slots.

Innovativemods submitter 7 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

Thank you! It's one of my favorites as well. I own a black and white version and love them both!

Nice build. Would you mind sharing how you made that vertical PCIe bracket? I'm building a computer in this case and would love to get one. Thanks.
