Description

I use my pc mostly for gaming and streaming. Build went off without a hitch, the H440 is a great case to build in. Currently running the i5 at 4.4ghz with a temp of 72 underload and 34 idle. Think I could hit 4.6 but I am good at 4.4. The gtx770 is set with 100 gpu offset and 475 mem offset and has ate and spit out every game I have. I game on 1080p so i can not speak for other resolutions. The Geil ram really surprised me, it maintains its 2133 even at 4.4ghz. All in all if I had to do it again I probably would have gone with a core i7 but the i5 really performs. Did not buy any speakers I only use headsets, just seems more immerse to me. I am still gaming hard at 47 yrs old and hope to game 47 more. UPDATE. HEAVEN 1.0 BENCHMARK PIC. Graphics:1357mhz Memory:3980mhz Temp:69c

Excellent build and cable management sir. I hope you entered the incorrect figure for that SSD. If you didn't, you paid way too much. For that price you could have gotten a 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro.

I expect it came from an old build, if it didn't; perhaps he got it for the fantastic warranty.

It did but the 200 was a error.

update it please. We think a $200 SSD seems dumb.

$200 for the SSD? booze and late night amazon shopping is not a good combination... ;)

(you might want to edit that)

It's really refreshing to know not all gamers are 12-30 year olds :)

First video game was a pong game connected to a 13 inch black and white tv when I was a little kid. I have been hooked ever since.

Any reason you didn't get the black and red version of the h440? I can't help but feel it would go better with your build.

I thought about it,but thought the red and black theme would stand out better in a white case. I am building my sons and he is using asus rog all the way and he chose the black and red h440. I will post those pics in a couple of weeks.

I'd love to see your son's red h440. I think the white with red components is mint though.

You'v used the wrong fans on your CPU radiator, The Corsair AF series are not for close up cooling, They help air move around the case not into small tight spaces of a radiator. Use the Corsair SP fans, these create high static pressure, helping push air into small tight spaces. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-fan-co9050005ww

Ordered the wrong by mistake, but my temps have been great and you can feel the air blowing out the top side vents. If my temps were bad I would order them but I am satisfied. Your exactly right though sp is the best choice.

I'm building a PC in a few weeks with that PSU and case combo, and if you didnt have the cable extensions, do you think the regular CPU power cable would stretch to the top of the case to correctly route it like you did, or is it too short?

The power supply cables are long enough just wanted the red color.
