You should of got 8gbx2 instead of 4gbx4. It leaves room to add more ram in the future. You should do some more cable management.

but last photo shows a great cable management!

The last photo is a picture with nothing plugged into the mobo. There was noting to manage at that point.

Who needs more than 16GB? If you do, you might as well get a Xeon.

I'm sure this thing performs like a beast, but some problems, none which hurt the performance. First, completely overkill motherboard, unless your going for good looks, which I can understand; but if your going for good looks, then go for them!! Get that 24 pin routed to the upper grommet, pull all the slack out of the GPU cables, and put all the messiness behind the mobo tray where nobody will see it. Also, route those ugly CPU power cables behind the tray also, and have them come down from the holes behind the H110. Also, get some sort of lighting in there to accent the GPU, and not make it look like an awkward piece of PCB sticking out of the motherboard. Also, the PSU is waaaaaaayyy to much for what you need. You could have gotten a great PSU and have left over money to get the lighting, and a back-plate for the GPU. If you spent this much on a PC, and it's this powerful, put the power to use by overclocking it!

Nice build bro! You gonna overclock that 3770? You definitely have the power supply and cooling gear for it. Any 3dmark scores on that 7970???

Lol i read this and thought you were saying he needed a better PSU and cooler.

I would have gotten a NZXT Kraken X60, but still very good build

Maybe he doesn't like the LED lighting system on the Kraken X60

The power of duct tape...

Also I would have gone with a Gigabyte 7970 and just overclock it to GHz level. Nice build. What's with the high ram? Please explain sir. Do you got pics of the monitor?

Ghz edition cards run on a modified chipset that allows them to overclock higher normally. But anyways I would have gone with the MSI Lightning 7970 or the Power Edition. Both of those cards are the same, the Lightning just has a higher base clock and a sticker that says "Lightning."

Cool. I didn't know that. I knew about the Lighting I just didn't know about the Ghz model have more overclocking juice

yeah, they do =D. The Lightning far exceeds it though, I don't mean to sound like an MSI fanboy, but it's true. I have a Gigabyte 7870 anyways lol.

MSI 680 lightning or 7970 lightning that is the true question

7970 Lightning because the 7970 wins in the majority of games. But the 680 does win a few. On the other hand look at 3DMark11 Scores, the 7970 quadfire wins against Four-Way SLI 680's. But the common thought is that 7970's are in general better than 680's.

Are you going to take a crack at that cable management or is the 3rd pic while you were building.

This is a very good build. I might copy it but just use a different case, a 1tb hdd, and a msi lightning 680. I give you props for this build. I'm on spring break too, sucks that I dont have the money because I could've built it over break lol

Nice build should be good for at least three years. 5 if you and another 7970.
