Description

Built for a friend with a lighter budget then my previous build. His first foray into pc gaming wanted to give him an enjoyable experience with performance in mind and hopefully long term consistency. He's a fan of blue so i tried to work with the part's list to fit that theme, pretty happy with the results. Pleasantly surprised by the overclock-ability of the 4690k, barely had to touch the voltage to get it up pretty high. GPU didn't overclock much but that's to be expected. May need to change out the psu (not the one in the parts list). It's a hand-me-down I had laying around and it's not even 80+ rated so I don't intend to keep it in there for long.

Build went off mostly without a hitch, though it was a tighter space. I'm pretty surprised with how much space there actually was, however, and the option for a top mounted 240mm Radiator is a really nice bonus that leaves room for considerable upgrades. Didn't need to install any extra fans either. I got some parts on a summer deal, so i'm pretty happy with the price we paid. Plays everything like a champ, enjoyed fiddling around with it, and he can even use his PS4 controllers over Bluetooth with it too. Overall he enjoyed it alot. Now to move onto to an even smaller build

Cool build! I really like that case. Its nice and small, but looks pretty dang cool! Also, if hes looking for a KBM, I would suggest the CM Storm Devastator. Its KB&M combo for 30 bucks that has blue LEDs

The Cx series is all that bad. It's 80+ bronze also.
