Description

This is the first PC I've built, I mostly wanted it for gaming. I'm extremely happy with how this turned out. I haven't had any issues what so ever so far. It runs extremely quietly as well. I overclocked the CPU to 4.3ghz.

How good is the motherboard? I'm thinking about switching to that mobo to match a colour scheme, but is it any good?

I also have one and it is pretty good, it comes with 5 fan headers total a BIOS which does light overclocking for you and looks pretty nice too.

It's a great board. I currently have the H97 Asrock though.

I'm really satisfied with it. It looks really good with the msi 970.

I'm really liking it. I can pretty much max out any game at 1080p.

I want it for 1440p though haha

for 1440p you could play max settings and get 60 fps with v-sync off, but get the msi twn frzr cos it stays very cool and just overclock it

was it hard to over clock?

Nope, the motherboard actually put the cpu to 4 ghz if I put on the OC Genie. I was able to easily put it to 4.3 ghz fairly quickly.

why 970?

Why not? It's a great video card. The only thing that beats it for the money is a 390, and that may not be available everywhere yet.

When I bought the 970, the 390 wasn't out yet. I honestly wish now that I waited a bit and got the 390.

the reason I said why 970 is because of the whole 3.5 gb thing. its still a great card but I just don't like how Nvidia lied to us

Technically it does have 4 gb or ram but 0.5 gb of the ram is a lot slower then the other ram which makes it some what unusable. I did kind of have an issue with it morally but it still performs really well.
