Description

I built this back in August but I never got had the time to post it on PCPP, and I kinda just forgot about it until now so here is my build.

I had a budget of $800 CAD for the PC it self and $50 for the mouse and keyboard. I have made some upgrades to the PC and peripherals. The first upgrade I made was about a month ago where I upgraded my mouse to a G502 Proteus Core, My second upgrade was from Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4-2666 which I got on discount for $40 to GeIL EVO X 16GB DDR4-3000(RGB), I didn't buy it, I won it in the Zotac 10th Anniversary Giveaway.

(This is also my first build) (Actually running Windows 10 because I upgraded from 7 to 10) (sorry for bad pics, I have a bad camera and I am bad at taking photos, not a good combination)

Part Reviews

CPU

fast, but wish it was faster.

Motherboard

decent motherboard, but I should have bought an ATX board.

Memory

Really fast, and really tall and RGB! but can't use the 3Ghz because my board doesn't support XMP.

Storage

I boot in 15 seconds flat, bought it for sale at best buy.

Storage

just a drive I had sitting around.

Video Card

Fast enough for now but I will upgrade my monitor to 1080p 144hz soon (using a 1024x1280 75hz) I also got a decent overclock on it.

Case

Easy to build in, looks really nice, and decently quiet all for $70.

Power Supply

wish it was modular..

Keyboard

keyboard feels mechanical but is really loud.

Mouse

really nice but scroll wheel is loud and its not RGB.

Headphones

pretty good for the price but gets kinda warm after I use it for a long time.

Three pictures were clear enough but only two were internal that was not blurry. It's tricky when it comes to taking photos because the culprit is tends to be --> shaky hands.

Spec wise you do have a great budget computer, and it's cool you won the RAM. It's always nice to have money saved for something you may need or want. Thanks for sharing your build and enjoy it. +1
