Description

Around black Friday, I built this PC and made some changes. Originally I had non rgb ram (1x8 3000mhz) but I got the RGB ram as a Christmas gift. I got some of the parts at a steal price. I only payed $340 for this PC because I got my 2200g for $45 and my gpu for $60. The rgb fans were $20 (they're vetroo branded) The power supply in the parts list is not the exact one I am using. I'm using an arc 450 from Rosewill. I picked that one on the parts list because it has black cables and costs around the same price. Overall it is a big upgrade from my previous PC (FX 8370 and 1050)

Part Reviews

CPU

Great processor for the price (especially the integrated graphics) comes with a great stock cooler, but i am not using it.

CPU Cooler

Good cooler, just a bit loud when you first install it. I had to go into the bios and change the fan speed.

Motherboard

Great motherboard! i have no complaints about it, just a nice m-atx motherboard.

Memory

This ram looks amazing. The fact you can control it with aura sync is even better.

Storage

Good SSD. pretty fast boot times too.

Video Card

This GPU is one of my favorite budget graphics cards. You get RGB and you can find them used for great prices.

Case

This case so far is my favorite to work in. Has plenty of room in the back for cable management and has the IO on the side. Best of all, the airflow is probably the best I've seen in a micro atx chassis

Yes they're very nice they come with a fan hub and controller.

I see you cut out the front of the case for better airflow am I wrong?

No the case comes with a mesh front panel and holes in the front for better airflow.

Wait seriously? That’s weird. It used to not have those holes and the case was rather well know for having absolutely terrible airflow. I might actually buy this case sometime since I no longer have to make a trip to the workshop at my school.

You should. This is the best micro ATX case for the price. Full side panel window, mesh front (for good airflow) and room for cable management.

I would for my upcoming build but the mobo I’m using doesn’t support mATX.

How did you manage to power all of the fans? That motherboard only has 2 headers for fans (CPU and system) so did you use splitters? I am debating whether or not to get micro ATX's because they don't have many headers for fans.

The fans came with a fan hub that connects to sata power.
