Description

Hey Everyone,

Just finished my first build!!

This is a general price point at the moment...

Will be upgrading soon with another EVGA 770sc and replace the CX600 psu with either a Corsair AX860i or AX1200i. I might add another 8gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro too!

This is hopefully close to what the final build will be like: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Epinendrum/saved/49Yq

along with better wire management in the next couple weeks!!! Ill add some better Pic's!

Thanks,

Epinendrum

first of all postioning is nice so +1, but the cable routing is horrible absoulutly horrible- which makes the air flow also horrible

I will be flipping the PSU over so it takes in cold air and routing the rest of the cables in the back, most of them are already though... and the PSU I have now isn't Modular so it's sort of being difficult. But I'll post pic's when its done!!

Just picked up this same case and thinking about water cooling the cpu. Could you please post some more picts of how/where you mounted the CPU heat exchanger.

Ya!! It's really hard putting in a radiator, because Thermaltake did't provide enough clearance between the mobo and top of the case. The top section of the case, does not have a hole large enough to drop the tubes in either... so in conclusion of all that, you pretty much have to do a pull set up if your planning on going with a Corsair H100i like set up in your build. I originally had one fan pushing and one fan pulling but it ended up bugging me, so i switched to an entire pull recently. The positioning of the cable management holes are also not very well positioned imo, but I'd love to see what you do with it!!! Post some pic's when your done!!

So did you have to do any modding to get the cpu cooler in there or was it just a really tight fit? If you did please describe.

Just a tight fit. I have screws going from the top fans, through the case, and into the radiator. and you also have to be careful when putting in an optical drive, if those are your intentions, because the radiator will get in the way of the top slot. It is also easiest running the tubes from the left, as mine are in the pictures. I don't have any before pic's so you'll just have to go off the one's I posted today. If you need more of them, or looking for a different angle, I can definitely do that!! :D

Hi, I have the same case and h100i cooler. I tried putting the radiator on the inside of the case and the stock fans on top and I am having a bit of problem getting the top lid on. The holes drills into the top of the case where the pegs align with are close to the edges of the fan and towards the base of the beg is more plastic which hits the fan. Did you not have this issue?
