Description

Parts that i use in this case are constantly changing and this is not my first build, before gtx 970 i have used two gtx 560 ti in Sli mode one was Gainward and second was Asus DCII OC, but than i realize that i can sell them for a good price and get a new one and that was gtx 970 g1 gigabyte, i bought 8gb of kingston fury red ram on 1866mhz and pair it with older kingston hiper x grey nemesis series that are working on 1600 mhz but they work wery well in combination. The case is Raidmax Agusta Titan its more or less a full tower but with separate hdd deck below standard space. It comes with 3x 120mm led green fans, and one 120mm back fan wich i separate with CM sickle flow red, and it hase 3x80mm fans in hdd deck two in back and one in front, and hase a full led and rotation control on top of it. I ulgrade a CPU box fan with V8 GTS because mostly it looks cool because im not yet in OC serious so i dont need a water cooling yet. I plan to buy a new MB Asus rog maximus VII formula and a new CPU i will go with i7 4790k this one is still great but because of socket tipe i must. I will continue to upgrade this case some more time and see where will it go :-)) for monitor i use Samsung 37' smart tv :-) because i sold my old asus 19' tft and waiting some beter gaming monitor. This rig's main purpose is gaming, gaming and just gaming, i love the looks of my Raidmax because it reminds me of Isacs Clark armor from Dead Space 3 and will go with some upgrades that will have that motives. Ultron Project, well i just love the name, its somehowe bad *** and reminds me of Marvels super vilain :-)

If your on a budget for the mobo try an Asrock Z97X killer I really like them and i found you can pick one up at around $100.

Even not overclocked, an i7-2600k won't bottleneck a GTX 970 by more than a frame at settings you'll play at (i.e., max settings at 1080p). There's no need to overclock or upgrade the CPU until you start seeing near 100% CPU utilization.

I think there is no reason for us 2600k owners for changing, but its just pure enthusiasm :-) before 970 i got two 560ti in Sli but they didnt gave me enough power so i decide its time for change because they had 1gb each. Chears mate and continue to upgrade!

Nice curtains, I like how they match the pillows.

You can OC with that cooler, no need to wait for water. Can't wait to see Ultron 2.0

Well thanks for that :-), i have read about stable clock up to 4.5 but everithing above that would be risk but who knows.. i will continue to build this rig, i plan to add some full led diods thrue hdd deck and some custom work and stuff with complete case.. it has potential but in time it will be done!

The two combined sets of memory shouldn't be able to work...

Both sets will just run at the lowest frequency, in his case 1600Mhz. RAM is RAM and works interchangeably most of the time

Oohh but they work perfectly just on lover clock speed :-), instead of 1866 they go on 1600mhz! I got chip fury reds with 10 years waranty and i say way not.
