Description

Hello world! This was my first pc build, after watching all my friends build gaming pc's i decided it was time for me to join them. I built it in August 2015 but am posting about a year later after adding a few more parts and upgrades. Hopefully you enjoy checking it out for ideas or just to laugh at it. Comments are welcomed and appreciated! Cheers!

If your pc is on a desk, you really should put the psu the other way round so that it gets cooler air from outside the case.

A little bit of cable management and it would be a pretty nice looking PC

Yeah it could be better, i just reworked some of it recently when i got my 1070. It is a lot better looking than when I first built it.

How well is your 1070 running? I'd like to upgrade to it as soon as I can find one.

It's a beast at 1440p. Any game I have thrown at it at max settings it has handles beautifully. Temperatures stay below 70c most of the time. I think it's the sweet spot for 2k gaming(60fps).

does the intake radiator make your case get significantly hotter? i like how that configuration looks

It is probably a little warmer. But the temperatures are still very acceptable. I prefer this configuration over back or top mounted radiator.

I'm going to eventually upgrade to an EVGA 750 supernova. I got the CX cheap from a friend.
