After "lugging" my PC back from a LAN party over at a friends house, I was debating for months whether to move from an Intel 3770k to Skylake platform, and decided to take the plunge. I also felt this would be a good opportunity for me to scale down and create a mini gaming machine so I can take it over to my mates.
I wanted to re-use some of the components from the old build, so I decided to keep the H100i, RM750 and GTX 970, and move it across.
Overall, I'm very happy with the build. Tried to keep it as neat and tidy as possible given the space limitations Mini ITX brings. The fan controller on the Maximus Impact was a godsend, and the top rail for mounting a dual rad on the Enthoo Evolv ITX was a really welcome edition as well as the support for larger PSUs.
Who knows, in the future I may add some RGB LED lights like the NZXT Hue+. If I do, I'll be sure to add the pictures.
