I use this for gaming and studies. I'm planning to upgrade the motherboard because when I purchased all the parts, the motherboard I want was not available (MSI Z170M Mortar).
The picture for the PC is outdated. It has 4 4GB sticks now. The R9 380 is a 2GB version. The LED strips are generic. I custom made the sleeving. The mousepads are SteelSeries QcK+ Na`Vi Splash edition and QcK Mineski Team Edition.
I can't recall when I built this PC. Probably around Feb 2016.
Chose the 6600K because it is a newer architecture and supports DDR4. Can't overclock yet because I have a B board.
I need a 140mm radiator because I want it to be put at the top. Can't go with x61 because I can't remove the drive bays, I need it for Sentry 3 and an optical drive. It keeps my CPU very cool.
Planned to go with MSI Z170M Mortar but it wasn't available when I purchased the parts. Suits my black and white build though.
I originally have a two 4GB sticks but for aesthetic purposes, I upgraded to four 4GB sticks.
Very fast SSD. Fastest consumer SSD. Boots Windows 7 about 8 seconds, shutdowns in less than 5 seconds.
This is my original storage for games, movies, applications, etc., but I ran out of space.
So I bought a 2TB HDD.
This is actually a 2GB version. Runs every game I want.
I really don't like full or ATX cases. So I go with, for my case, the best MicroATX Tower. It has pretty much space for cable management. But it only supports three fans, I need 6.
I want a gold certified fully modular PSU but it can't go with my budget so I went with a semi-modular.
This is from my previous build. Still runs.
Still the best operating system for me.
For aesthetic purposes I want all the fan spaces to be filled. This goes with the stock fan, which is the same model, at the front for intake, and the other at the bottom for intake also.
For aesthetic purposes I want all the fan spaces to be filled. This goes to the top along with the NZXT Kraken x41 for exhaust.
The casing doesn't support enough fans so I went for this. Pretty good fan controller, easy interface to control each of the fans.
I really don't like big monitors because I have a small desk. I need to multi-task so I went for two.
I have a BlackWidow 2014 Stealth (Razer Orange) before. My hands were used to this type of keyboard and wanted to try the Razer Green switches, so I went for this.
Pretty nice gaming mice. You can change the weights that will suit your wrist. It has a nice thumb rest.
I like its design and its very comfortable. I use this for playing FPS games, it delivers the surround well so I can hear the enemy footsteps and where they are coming from.
