I have been saving for the past year to get this!
Looks nice for gaming. if that's what it's for.
More pics please!
(BTW...expect to be hammered by using the word beast as your build name. It gets so overused...)
XD I know right
Here are more pics
Hes wicked smart ya know! radical!
I'm interested in what games you play on there and how your settings are. Also, what is your bottleneck, the CPU or GPU? I'm going for some gaming myself and would like to know how this budget build works for you.
All games i've played have been on max settings, CSGO (100+ fps), Goat Sim (50+ fps), and The Walking Dead Season 2 (60+ fps). All in 1080p.
What games are you playing?
CSGO, Goat Sim, L4D2, and soon the Witcher 3.
Simple, clean, and effective. Looks like there are cutouts you could feed some of those wires through, it would help with the appearance of it. Also, they way you have it now is alright, but one thing you might be able to do is the exhaust fan on the back; try taking the wire that plugs into the motherboard and wrapping it around the fan and then plugging it in, if it is long enough. Gets rid of the extra slack and looks nicer imo.
Very nice, look's very solid, what resolution do you play your games at?
Nice build! I have a very similar budget build with the 760k and an r9 270. It really is a "budget beast for it's price."
I know right :D
how's the Athlon X4 860K for gaming? I've been eyeing that CPU for a budget build I've been thinking about building for my little brother.
It's been working great, I highly recommend it :D
What kind of performance are you getting? If you can would you please post some benchmark scores from some of the games you play, and the resolution you're playing at.
Thanks for the fast reply. The reason being is I've seen tons of these builds all with the same components, but they never list the actual performance. But anyways I'm glad the scores were good because I was impatient and ordered the parts before you replied. Again thanks and happy gaming. =D
No problem, I hope you enjoy it
UPDATE: I just got Watch Dogs, Shadow of Mordor, and Crysis 2.
Shadow of Mordor= High-Medium 1080p/69FPS
Crysis 2=High Settings 1080p/60fps
Watch Dogs=Medium Settings 1080p/Barely 30FPS (It's the worst PC port i've ever seen XD)
I'm looking to use the same CPU in a future build. Did you have to update the motherboard BIOS to use the CPU?
No, but I would recommend to just in case. I didn't update it for about 2 weeks and it worked fine :D
How's the case? Does it have decent Cable Management?
It isn't that great to be honest, but with what I have nothing gets in the way.
