Description

I like to call it my Gamebeast! Many thanks to my friend Dimas for helping me build it around my price range.

I'm a big gamer, so I use this machine for gaming. It's also really good for my professional work (modeling/rendering). It runs all my games fairly well and I can turn all my settings to the max. I've only run into choppiness in unoptimized early access games.

The only things I'll be upgrading/changing in the future is adding another 1-3 RAM sticks of the same type, and upgrading my graphics card to a newer model (such as a 970/980).

+1 from me. Good 1,000 dollar build, and got 2 monitors in there too. The back panel comes off your case so you can run your wires behind the mobo, just fyi. Keeps things neat and cool.

Only thing I would have done different, since the budget didn't allow for the end game gpu anyway.. I would have spent more on the cpu and got the 4690k and a better mobo and used integrated graphics or a dirt cheap used card until I could get the 970. Just my .02..

Nice build, but work on those cables! Route them behind the motherboard tray.
