Description

This was my first build. It runs most games on Ultra or High (All mine are on ultra). I've added some green leds link at the bottom.

I didn't run into any problems with the build except for the CPU Cooler. On CoolerMaster's website it says it's compatiable with Intel Socket LGA1150 but I've only managed to get it to fit with 3 screws. I would suggest getting one that actual fits.

If you wish to see more pictures or you have a question just PM me or comment.

Happy building :)

For your cpu cooler issue - did you tighten the screws loosely in a criss-cross pattern? Or did you tighten one all the way down first before moving on?

If you tighten the first screw all the way in before adding additional screws you can botch the alignment on the other screw holes, and maybe make it impossible for your final hole to reach or align properly.

If this is the case, just power it all down and pull it out to reinstall.

Otherwise, looks like a great build!

It took me some effort and time to make evo 212 work with 1150.. those screws, man! but in the end it's all worth it

I agree with these guys, I have the same CPU and CPU cooler and they definitely fit. Granted it is a pain to install due to its size but it fits and it works great. Just re-seat it.

Sweet build though, love the green. +1

The CPU cooler fits. I recently installed the exact same model on an 1150. You just gotta have it adjusted right. Try moving the cooler's legs or whatever they're called into different notches. There's 3 circular holes that each can fit in. I think the middle ones worked, but I may be mistaken. I'll see if I can take a picture of my build to show you what the hell I'm saying. LOL

How are you liking that 4670K? That's what I plan to use in my next build and I'm curious.

I have it and it's a great processor. I just started getting into editing and my i5-4670k still does extremely well for editing. Gaming is a breeze with that processor.

Here's that pic of what I was referring to. In addition to using the middle circular hole, also try rotating the mounting bracket 90 degrees and trying it that way.

Btw I got all this build cheaper than the price here on pcpartpicker. It was $1350.
