TL;DR: Mid range machine that could use some optimization, runs fine for most games, without problems.
This computer was the first computer I built. Naturally I made some mistakes when choosing the parts. For instance the motherboard was not the greatest choice. Has some bios problems that add a couple of seconds to boot. The biggest problem is the WD Caviar black. I would not pick it up, instead maybe a blue. It is loud as all hell. It's not a faulty drive either, its just really loud, especially on boot it just revs like an engine. Otherwise its fine! (Note, I built this computer in 2012, and had a budget of $1000. (The SSD was a gift). Use: Primarily I use the machine for gaming. Some newer titles from 2014 as well. Handles most games no problem. The 660 does run a little warm but wasn't a problem. Anyways, it was fine. It was a learning experience. Since then, I have built more machines and will be upgraded within a couple years. I figure I will get the most out of the current setup.
