Description

I built this PC to serve as my HTPC. I have a lot of friends that come over, and they are really more into casual gaming. So, I put this beauty in my living room to serve as a hub for gaming and watching movies. I set up some wireless XBOX controllers as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse. This is my 3rd build and some of the parts I used, I already had on hand. Parts like the CPU, GPU, and power supply were taken from a computer that I already had for about a year. Once I get the money I plan on upgrading my power supply unit, and once I get alot more money, I plan on getting another Titan X for some SLI.

Don't forget about the plans on going SLI! For some occasional light gaming on a HTPC this seems pretty legit, doesn't it?

4790k + GeminII
8GB Ram + Titan X (and SLI?!)

Not very balanced.

Yeah I know. Like I said some of these components were taken from another pc. I will definitely throw in an AIO cooler later. as well as install 16GB of ram.

You talk a lot about your build, but we haven't seen anything of it. Also you should learn how to use punctuation.

My led strip recently failed and i'm waiting for a replacement to come in, without them my case will be close to black inside and you wont see anything and i don't feel the need to use punctuation whilst replying to a comment

Well, you should if you like people to understand you.
Regarding your build: switch on some external lighting. That should do the trick.

External lighting isn't the same as LED's, the LED's i get go with my build very well and with external lighting it doesn't look half as nice as it does with LED's. my LED's should be here sometime in the next 4-5 days as soon as they're here i'll be sure to shoot you a link to my build

how did you set up the LED strip in terms of its path through the case?

I'm very sorry for my late reply. The P400 has a small area below the front 2 fans that is quite open. It is part of the area that is covered by the PSU shroud. I tucked the LED unit box into that area and the Ifrared sensor for the remote is barely out of sight. The remote has very little trouble changing the LED color from a moderate distance.

I like your build aesthetics. Clean as a whistle.
