I am reposting this because I wanted to I guess. Giving it another look I guess. Just proud ;)

I modded the video card with a vertical graphics card holder by ice wolf from cooler master

Hello!! This is my build for my home theater room. In the room I use an Optoma 3D 1080p projector with a 135" fixed screen. With Pioneer Tower speakers in 5.1 surround sound with 2x 10" kickers on a down-fire in an ottoman custom built by me. I have 5 theater seats.

My PC mainly has an i7 6700k, Asrock Fatal1ty K6, G.Skill 3200 DDR4 ram, an EVGA 1080 ftw Hybrid, and watercooled with an NZXT Kraken w/ corsair and thermaltake 140mm fans in a Phanteks tempered glass case....Loving it!!!

I have had this build since Sept. 19, 2016 and just did some aesthetics to it. I don't plan on any upgrades until I purchase a 4k projector in the some what near future pending on the price. I know they just came out with some $2k ones but non 3D and I will wait for the whole package.

I took more pictures than normal because.... well, red LED's are not photogenic and it is hard to capture the look of the build.

I love the color combination and the cable management. That orangish/red color really sets it off. The build looks great. Good job with the photos.

Thank you... I have a hard time taking pictures of this rig... Red and black doesn't seem to like my camera

Looks awesome! The temps on that gpu are probably pretty nice.

customgtp submitter 23 Builds 2 points 19 months ago

Thank you... And yes. Roughly 40c in game temps

Awesome build man! How did you manage to install the x62 without removing the HDD cage and its panel though?

customgtp submitter 23 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Thank you. I bolted the radiator inside the case. It's hard to explain. The front 140mm corsair fans are bolted to case, the radiator is bolted to case from inside, then the 140mm fans attached to x62. It's not a perfect fit but it works. I wanted to keep the push pull with this

customgtp submitter 23 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

I could only attach one side of screws to the radiator if that makes more sense

Is it possible to post some better pictures showing this? I really want to put a 280mm rad in the front but idk how I can fit it in there...

customgtp submitter 23 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Are you using the same case? It will easily fit up front towards the outside of the case with room to spare.

I wanted push/pull so I mounted it inside so I could put 2x140mm fans up front and 2 inside. It is mounted with only 2 screws on one side though but it works well. Can't even tell.

Invidia1 1 point 18 months ago

Oh I see. (I want to use this case - I'm in the process of putting together a parts list)

So you just put the rad as far up as it would go on the inside? Is it plenty stable with only 2 screws holding it to the case?

Also, I noticed that your fans with the push pull don't 100% line up (I'm not nit-picking at all, just observation from my perspective). Do you think this messes up the push pull airflow?

How do you vertically mount your gpu?

customgtp submitter 23 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

I use a cooler master vertical holder mount from ice wolf from the cmstore.com but they seem to be always out of stock

Djkong 1 Build 1 point 17 months ago

Thanks man!
