You know you did something wrong when you spend more money on your headset than your video card. :P

You still spent more, based on the prices you put.

Everyone of the most important parts are not up to par with your budget. -1

You bought a liquid cooler but are using the stock fan?

LOL i didn't even notice that. 8gxe, your observatorational skills have revealed an even deeper flaw. Good catch.

Great job 8gxe. Catching that slip up and all. I can see your MIT education is REALLY paying off.

gonna have to agree with zac16, why the hell would you even consider getting 16gb of ddr3-2000 with ram cooler, only to get a low end crappy motherboard? seems like some poor research was done on this build -1

I initially only had 8gb with the starting build. Motherboard at the time fit my budget with the features i needed.

A 6670 is not "mid-level gaming," and VERY few good builds use cases that come with their own power supplies. Unfortunately, I'd have to say that this is no exception. -1

Also, why a FX6100??? The FX6300 is better and cheaper...

you wasted so much money on the ram, ram cooler, and the ssd only to cheap out on the motherboard. why? could have gotten much better parts even back then.

Cheap out on the motherboard? That's fine for this build. The graphics card is the weak point here.

its the brand of motherboard that is cheap, you dont see many people using that brand for good reason.

I guess... but I still don't think it's the main problem here.

Mother of God, are those prices actually right?

$1409.64!?

I put mine together for $914. I could do so much more with an extra $500.

throw out the power supply from the case! get a new one!

I'm seeing a lot of poor decision making here. 6100? Should've gone with 6300. 2000 Mhz RAM and a fan with it? Pointless. Only a 1TB HDD? Could've gotten a 2TB easily. And that 6670 graphics card is just awful. Time to upgrade, buddy.

This was a build from early last year. Didn't have the money to buy more. I have a 3TB external thats attached mainly to that computer hence i didnt need the extra space.

Pretty nice build. I have the same case but im kind of skeptical about the power supply. How is it?
