Description

This was built to be a long-term replacement for a Dell PC that I'd been running since 2006. I wanted to have some redundancy with a RAID 1 array, as well as a platform that I could continue to upgrade in the future. This is the result. It's built mostly for Video Editing and Light Gaming, but it's ready for mostly whatever I've thrown at it!

According to gamedebate, your GT 610 is 52% worse performance wise than your i7's integrated GPU, so I would rather use the integrated GPU, or is there another reason?

The biggest reason I ended up with the crap GPU card is that I needed something with VGA out for my old monitor. I've since stepped up and gotten a newer Acer 24" widescreen with HDMI, so I may pull the GT610 out and start hunting a new GPU.

I'm no going to start yelling at you about how terrible your PC is but here is some things you should do. Replace the graphics card, if your planing to game then DONT use the one you currently have. Try replace it with a GeForce GTX 750. And also, did ultimate really need 16gb?

I was actually looking at this card's series earlier today (after further acknowledging that the card I have is vastly insufficient for the rest of my stuff). It was a quick, cheap acquisition that let me see when a DisplayPort to VGA adapter didn't work for some reason.

What is the difference between the GTX 750 Ti / Ti FTW / Ti SC?

They are all relatively the same. Just different coolers and clock frequency. The Ti FTW would be the best between the 3

SC or superclocked is another word for overclocked, it means you will get better performance but it will run a bit hotter.
