Nice Build. Would recommend an after market cooler if you start to overclock. SSD would be nice too.

Stock overclock on that 7870 is pretty dang good. What kind of frames per second you getting in games?

I don't have that many games yet but BF3 70+ on ultra, Sleeping Dogs 100+, Farcry3 dx11 60+, Planetside 2 40+ during heavy battles normal 80fps

ok that makes sense. I figured it couldn't be 1080p with such high frames but it seems pretty good for what you have :D happy gaming.

Hey dude, you seem to know a fair bit about PC's, so can you help me out?

I'm working on a budget fm2 gaming build, and was wondering about the mobo: Should I spend a good deal and get the asrock fm2 extreme6, or spend less on the micro-atx msi fm2 a75 board?

Here's the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/IDuk

Please reply.

Check out the Gigabyte F2A75M-D3H. I have one and it's pretty awesome for an mATX board. :)

very decent build and extremely well balanced. Good work- You've built yourself a system that not only is a great mid range performer but it has a lot of room for future upgrades.

Thanks I hope to add water cooling and another 7870 later on might have to upgrade psu too but that's will be in 1or 2 years not soon

How is the HAF 912 working for you? It seems like a nice case, but there are no USB 3.0 headers and the inside is not painted.

I have built a PC in that case and from my experience it has decent airflow and decent cable management. But like you said no USB 3.0, the inside is not painted, and a con of my own, their are no grommets. The back of the motherboard tray could also use a little bit more space. It has better cable management options than my HAF 922 does though but not as good airflow.

inside color doesn't bother me much but the dust could be a problem but it does come with dust filters the front and the bottom but no filters on the top though its fairly easy to clean up and the cooling is excellent imo and for the usb 3.0 I currently don't own any device that can use the full potential of 3.0 but i can always buy a header if i want to and one more thing it doesn't come with fans on the top so theres big empty holes on the top if u don't put anything there
