Description

First Build - Originally I tried to stay in the $500 dollar range

Update The cables are way better as well as my new set up. Been thinking of getting an affordable new keyboard. Suggestions?

Short description- So originally had a laptop and after saving some money I was able to buy this. Updated the pictures (or will shortly) and description. Also the PC itself was $535 (7 parts -$17.90 because some discount on newegg). Please comment if you have questions (=

Processor- cant complain its good especially for the price you can get it at.

Mobo- Its a good motherboard especially if you can get it for cheap 60-80 dollar range. I had a couple of problems with it though. When I was plugin in the 6 pin power it scared me a bit because it bent a little and it felt like it was going to break, with a little force and trying to be as careful as possible I was able to plug it in. Another problem is that during heavy game play or under heavy load, I noticed the back and top side of the case get really hot. This in due is a result of the motherboard getting hot, im hoping that once I get a better pc cooler this wont be a problem anymore.

Memory- cant complain does the job and they look cool, also ive noticed the price for ram is always fluctuating and ive seen these go for like 50 bucks.

Storage- 1Tb for the price is really good, wish i had some ssd's though because those are way faster.

Video Card- So the video card is good for what I need it. Most of my gaming library isn't filled with very new titles but im sure this card could run them all at very playable speeds. Everything else, it runs amazing, Lol, borderlands 2, Tom raider, payday 2, skyrim. I think I should of waited a bit though before buying this card. In my opinion I think $170 was a little to much, normally this card is $150. $20 dollars might not be much but its important if you are in a budget.

Case- really like the case, its not as big as other cases which could go both ways but at least for me, it fits real nice in my desk. Also, its cheap for what I got it, and has lots of features including front usb3 port. It comes with 3 pre installed fans and one has LED's so it looks pretty good (anyone else reminded of AoT when they see the front of the case? no? maybe? ok ) I do wish it had holes on the top though. Besides that, its great, good cable management and has back panel. One last thing, this case picks up very minimal dust, I know my friends case which is a cooler masters (don't know exactly which one) is always getting dusty and his see through window is always static.

Power Supply- I trust EVGA and their products. Good power supply, cheap and 500W is enough for what I need.

CPU Cooler- I have yet to buy another cpu cooler, dont have the money right now, nor a job (yet), but hopefully this summer. Been thinking about getting the ARCTIC freezer, mostly because of prize and im sure it'll fit in my case. Get rid of the stock cooler because it is loud (at least for me) especially at night when im doing homework, where the only thing I hear is a loud buzz from the cooler.

Other - wireless adapter, at the time I needed it and it work good but now ive been able to get a wired connection going now its obsolete. - DVD drive, its from an old hp computer - mouse, bought it from amazon for like $8 its good just light and has no weights.

Dude...please try on the cables. The community here hates bad cable management almost as much as a small description. I wont downvote but others might...first build...right? Not bad. You should probably get good performance for it.

What yellow led fan are you using?

120mm yellow led. Came pre installed with the case.

A case with those cable management holes on the backplate and a spot for another fan at the front or bottom of the case would be a good step up. Fully support getting a heat sink for the cpu. This took me back to the days of playing Haze on ps3. Sweet build!

I like the accent yellows! Really cool. But yeah, as everyone will say. Cable management will help take this to the next LEVELLLL

Hey I'm wondering if I should get the same MOBO, and the NewEgg reviews are mixed and a lot of people are getting high temperatures on their CPUs. Have you had any problems with temps?

Yes, this mobo does heat up. If you can, I would recommend you getting a better mobo. Though its functional, it heats up and you can definitely tell. Main reason I decided to go with this one was the price.
