Description

Using this PC for running virtual machines and rendering videos for youtube. Haven't decided on whether I'm gaming on it or not yet, we'll see :) Cables are ridiculously stiff but other than some improperly instructed RAM I'm pretty much set on this.

I wish my PC would cost 203.29 with a 5820k and a GTX 970.

u need to fill up the 5.25s :D get a dual bay reservoir, dual bay fan controller, lighting controls...5.25 inch bay fan intake..drawer,cup holder, and that still leaves an empty bay :O, I like my phantom 820, it only has 4 5.25s

Wait, so why purchase a high end gaming graphics card, if gaming wasn't going to be one of the priorities for the computer? I'm confused, but overall neat build. :)

Whatever encoding/rendering program he is using may be CUDA-accelerated.

Also, I agree - the 970 will pretty much DESTROY any game right now at 1080p.

With a GTX 970 it would be a crime not to use it for gaming :p

Did you mount your mobo upside-down? And why didn't you align the corsair logo on the cooler block properly? The little OCD guy in my head is screaming right now...

i dont think he had a choice to mount the mobo. that case is sorta forcing them to mount it that way.

you're right, that's the way the screws were

Ah, wait a minute. I just searched the case and it seems to have a reversible mobo tray. I guess he reversed it leading to this unusual configuration.

my OCD guy was screaming too... the processor isn't square, that's the way the cooler fit on my processor, the logo was already on it. I didn't feel like restructuring the screws in order to mount my motherboard right side up, I would've also had to change the back to the front because that's the way the USB ports and ethernet port would go
