Description

Hi,

I live in Ireland. I just build my first gaming pc. It was a bit difficult to build as this was my first experience but definitely I enjoyed much.

Probably the best build name I've seen so far, nice job man!

Wow I didnt expect it to look as nice as it does in the last picture. Very well done, this looks great!

Good choice on the 390. How are you liking it?

Thanks, I dont have experience with graphic cards but its not hot as written in some forums. I see max 45C but it can be depended on the game etc. Its quite and does what I expect :)

Great build but you made a cable management error with the GPU cables they're suppose to go through further hole in front next to the SSD

Thanks for this, I did fix it and it looks better now

Great job on this build. Looks good and you made excellent component selection balancing price versus function. Sky Lake, good choice, cpu and motherboard. I am working on something similar right now. I am going with M.2 storage though. Your cable routing is very good, you have good instincts for first time. Congratulations. I am sure you will get many fun hours of use. : )

Excellent build all around, although I feel like you kind of cheaped out on the power supply, a build like this deserves a clean modular supply with some sleeved cables!

What, that XFX is an AWESOME quality unit. Sometimes people don;t want to spend alot of things like sleeved cables. Props to OP for getting an excellent PSU and having excellent cable management with it.

Thanks, I can agree that modular unit with sleeved cables would be great for this build but I did not want to spend much on it just for modular function.

You did a good job making the best out of the included cables though, and has been mentioned it is a very good PSU in terms of clean power. Its really just my personal preference for sleeved cable looks, I can't stand the look of plastic sleeved cables, even though performance doesn't change.

Still, great build!

I'm building almost the exact same computer when black friday comes around currently looking for deals! Any reason you chose the pro gaming motherboard over the z170-a?

alaattinoz submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

As I remember only difference was sound codec. Pro gaming has better sound quality with same price. This can be changed depend on what country you live in.

I am in the process of building the exact same pc, can you share a picture of your cable management and how it looks under the psu shroud? Any complaints about the motherboard or powersupply?
