Description

This was first gaming PC build. I was gaming on a lap top but was maxing it out. Spent a while checking out other builds, looking at product reviews, and reading comments. I finally settled on this parts list and I have no major complaints. Everything came together nicely, didn't run into any capability or clearance problems. Everything is running smoothly so far (Except for CAM, I haven't had any issues with controlling the pump or the fans but it won't recognize the case lights that came in the H500i but I can live with it, anyone know of any alternatives to CAM?)

EDIT: Based on feedback from my original post, I cleaned up the wire mess (Thanks to those who provided some helpful tips on wire management). I also sized up my cooler to the x62 and added 16 more GB of ram.

Let me know what you guys think.

High end gaming without going beyond needs. +1. Good choice in parts.

Great build! As for alternatives for CAM, there are plenty of other options to monitor hardware. If you only use it to control the RGB in the H500i then I'm afraid you're out of luck. On a completely unrelated note; how is the Pro Carbon treating you? Strongly considering it for a system platform swap

I also use CAM to control my fans and my cooler. I can live without the LED control. As for the Pro Carbon, I love it. Its really easy to work with and I'm glad I went with it.
