Built this PC with the bones of my last build that just wasn't quite strong enough for me. It plays all my games maxed out with good frames and scored a 6650 on 3DMark Firestrike. Was able to get some amazing deals which really helped bring the price down and I feel like I got solid performance for the price.
CPU: Originally planned on getting a 4690k, however staples price matched microcenter's in-store price on the 4590 and I had a 30 dollars off coupon so it was too tempting to pass up.
MOBO: Was able to pick this up over on /r/hardwareswap for 85, kind of wish I would've gone mAtx but for the price its a great motherboard.
RAM: Red, G.Skill, reliable.
Storage: Honestly wishing I would've just went with the standard ocz-arc version, however I really wanted to stick with the red and black color scheme, and I had the HDD from a past build.
GPU: Before anyone says it I really wanted the 960 for the fan-free at low temp design and the low power consumption. Furthermore I got this one at a great price and it OC's like a champ.
Case: Solid case for the price, tried to wait for it to go on a better sale but not patient enough.
PSU: Corsair, Modular, 500w should be enough, for now.
