Description

Custom built for a customer per their requests. Currently for sale as new because they were able to pull their payment back somehow from paypal.

NOW AT AUCTION: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-Evolution-Liquid-Cooled-custom-gaming-PC-Reserve-500-off-retail-/121015333016?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c2d137098

FULLY liquid cooled, CPU/RAM/MOBO/GPUs. Over $1400 in liquid cooling alone. Unfortunately I didn't have access to my photo booth or benchmarks when I built this one and don't particularly want to format it again to benchmark and have a perfect fresh install - even though it only takes like 10 minutes with the SSDs in RAID0 on a fast system like this.

This build is also featured on my website: Digi-Evol.com

If you want to contact me for a custom build, please do so through my website, not through Ebay. I WILL NOT take orders through Ebay since if I do, I am required to sell them through Ebay, which takes 9% of the sale price. (on top of the 4% taken by paypal and the 4% taken by state use tax.)

Nice Build. But wouldn't you need Windows Professional or Ultimate for that 64 GB of Ram?

  • 2 points

/ You are quite correct, HP only supports up to 16GB / Correction the ebay listing shows Windows 7 ultimate.

That really is a beautiful build... Too bad I'm not keen on spending $8k on something like this. xD I really do wish you luck selling it, though I'd probably bump the price down to $7-7.5k. But again, it's a gorgeous, great build.

this is a beast but your selling it for twice as much on ebay which if it sells will make money but doubt any one would buy it not sure but nice build

The full parts cost including all the liquid cooling and accessories is well over $5500. And I don't work for free. A system like this can take over a week to build. If you check out my Black Ice system, I listed the prices of all the liquid cooling and accessories that would give you a rough idea of how much it adds to the cost.

no overclock on that cpu? :( with the liquid cooling what can that cpu be pushed to?

  • 1 point

I had it up to 4.8 GHz stable running 68C under load, so it could be pushed further with a better cooling loop (would need a different case though - it may be huge, but is definately cramped for liquid loops)

I can go through each category and pick the most expensive item too!

Yeah, the difference is that this was actually built for a customer and I got screwed on it.

You got screwed!? What happened did they not want it?

They called Paypal and said their account was hacked so Paypal refunded it without even contacting me until after they had done it. This was after I had bought the parts and I was about a week from having it ready to ship... so at least they did it early enough that I still have the comp I can sell and try to recuperate my investment.

Well, that's really unfortunate but I'm sure you'll get a buyer for something that nice. I'm 18 and building my second desktop, and helped two friends build theirs, so I'm going to start building these freelance. I think I'm going to stick to local buyers, and cash or check only with a down payment.
