Description

So this is my current gaming rig! I call the machine Snow.

So far this is my progress of Snow however not completed just yet.

My future plans are SLI GTX 1080 and both be on water and to also upgrade the reservoir to a taller one for aesthetics.

In addition to this, the water cooling aspect I'll be re-doing all the pipe work (Only had a limited amount of pipes available at the time), although this will be a very tight space as I'll be putting a 240 radiator at top for the CPU. I stuck with the 12/16mm tubes because I want the water cooling aspect to shine first before the components.

So far, It's looking great, one brilliant feature the 570x provides is the tainted glass, I can't see the front panel connectors or the pump bracket and cables.

thou hast blessed mine eyes.

Lean, mean with a certain sheen, yet not green. With the build this is, this comment should be a 5 page essay. 1+ for SNOW time to write essay ( jk this build is super cold and clean)

In the photos it's more reminiscent of milk, not snow. Very interesting tubing runs, I think it looks both unique and great! What types of reservoirs are you looking at? T-virus reservoirs are still the coolest, imo :)

How's the SP120 going for you?

Quadral submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

They're great, one thing I like about the sp120 they are surprisingly quite and the light from the fans don't blind you.

Jasiula16 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

Wait, you built this the day before the Ryzen launch? I would have at least waited to see the performance of the chips. Even if the gaming performance isn't there yet, I would have at least waited to see.

Quadral submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

The CPU was brought late 2016, although I don't regret buying the 6800 it delivers the power I need for my day to day task.

Dizzlepop12 6 Builds 1 point 24 months ago

Oh, I see.

OChez 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

lukeasmith95 1 point 24 months ago

Do you mind sharing your complete water cooling set up with me? I'm getting this same case and this will be my first time water cooling my CPU. Would love to know what all you used. Thanks!

NovaTastical 1 point 24 months ago

Can this 1080 reach 144 fps or above in most games?

Quadral submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

Majority of the triple A games no, however I mostly play Rocket League, World of Warcraft. Starcraft, Supreme commander and hitting 144fps.

NovaTastical 1 point 24 months ago

You probably can with over clocking it to 1800mhz to 1900mhz

vegaspimp22 3 Builds 1 point 24 months ago

I want to build a similar setup, but i love the sp120 colors, and dont want to have to pay to replace all 6 of my fans, (i have the same case just no watercooling yet), did you replace those fans for your radiator? Can I keep the sp120's it comes with to cool my rad, like do they have enough static pressure?

Quadral submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

570x comes with 3 sp120 fans, so only had to buy x3. They're decent for static pressure, however if you're looking the best, then non rbg fans are usually good at static air pressure.

Absekon 2 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

Very simplistic yet attractive...

Luk3. 1 point 20 months ago

I'm new to PC building, and i would like know, where did you get the white cables for the GPU?

I'm planning on making a white build myself, and i would really like to know where you get those.
