Description

I built this beast with air flow in mind because this machine will was build with gaming in mind. Specifically, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs and eventually the Division. The Cooler Master HAF 932 Case comes with 3 x 230mm (9 inch) fans that blow quite alot of air with very little noise. I wanted my components to be as cool as possible, and with this setup the GPU idles around 22 celcius and the cpu at around 25. I have overclocked the CPU turbo boost to an even 4 Ghz. I have yet to water cool the CPU because it simply doesn't need it; the massive Hyper 212 EVO does a great job cooling, with the addition of the large fans already in the case. I would highly recommend this case, however, make sure you know that it is quite large and heavy (~35+ pounds loaded). But, if you have the highest end components and want a sick, cool, computer build, go for it. It sure beats the hell out of my dad's alienware, and he paid more for it.

Also, if anyone has any questions about these parts or my configuration feel free to leave a comment and ask. I'm sure I'll be able to help you out.

So did you have to install the latest bios for the i7 to work?

Nope. When I first booted it ran, however, I did update the bios shortly after.
