Description

This is my first PC build went excellently! Apart from one thing, the fans. They are so loud! being a noob, i thought that the dba meant everything and didn't know that rpm was the biggest contributing factor. The i5 has maintained its reputation and the tx3 allowed my to overclock to 4.4GHz on idle temps of 30 and peak load temps of 65 degrees. i have managed to overclock the gpu (as shown in the 3d mark fire strike) to boost its score by 580. Overall i am very happy and hope nobody ever buys these fans again! thanks for reading,

Ronan

I think that this is the best budget gaming build I have ever seen. Although you might want to change the motherboard, it is very good build with very good cable management. 1+ for best budget gaming build.

Yep those MSI PC Mate boards are not of the best quality. One of my friends had the same board and ended up RMA'ing twice due to broken ram slots.

You can make the fans run slower with the mobo bios or speedfan or something.

How well does your fan controller work at controlling those fans? Those fans better be able to run somewhat quiet as I have 2 of them on my new build that is under way right now. :D

Great job, good budget PC, solid components!
