I have to say, this PC has earned the title El Jéfe. Beautiful build with a great collection of parts. I like the totally neutral theme on the base parts because as you said, RGB makes sure it never feels stale. Also, great call waiting for the new NVidia cards. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I speak from experience here. Definitely got my +1 for this build. Feel free to check out my build. It's a constant work in progress because I keep swapping out parts but any feed back is appreciated.

Great PC!

How do the Venturi HP Fans perform? Can recommend them? Are they quiet enough?

  • 2 points

I can't hear them at all at ~980 rpm! They are barely audible even at max rpm. I would definitely recommend them as radiator fans!

This is one of the best build descriptions ever! So honest and so colorful :) Very nice! And of course, this build is fantastic! Congratulations my friend!

Build is beautiful, cable management is on point. Definitely a beast of a machine! Great choice on the monitor, I can't get enough of my 1440p, IPS, 165Hz, G-Sync Display. Nice Work!

Dude all I can say is holy crap you are a freaking legend. The description is fun and quirky and so is your build. I really want to build a PC too and I think this specific build might be under "upgrades for future" or "dream build" because of how awesome this is! Have fun with your build and I hope your future goals for this PC go well! Thanks

Im also planning to do a black build with a lot of rgb products. For me this rainbow lights doesnt fit perfectly to the black theme. You last photo with the white LEDs ist just awesome. Could you do some more photos with a single color or maybe 2 colors.
But awesome job on this build. :D

Great build! One tip is the mount the Hue+ strips on the inside of the front lip on the case. I moved mine to shine towards the back and it gave the same great lighting and you never catch the leds in the eyes.

hey, i have the same mobo as you but a gtx 1080 sc, did you find that although the gpu fits in and work fine that it is uncomfortable tight as the card near the inner io plate pushes against the armour casing of the motherboard? i had this problem and wondered if its just me? it seems crazy that asus would let this board be developed like this. thanks, pete

I LOVE THIS BUILD MANNNNNNN!! Looking at it, it's almost identical to what I'm planning to buy! #feelsgoodman
Are you connecting that lovely Hue+ in the RGB header on the MOBO? Does it work well? +1!

I cant believe you bought windows 10. You could just install it for free. All you need is a 4GB USB Drive which is only 5 dollars or less.

here's how you install it. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/

Dope build. Question tho, How did you mount the Hue+ strips up at the top ? It looks like you have them with zip ties. Was it really difficult to mount them without the zip ties, or was that there just to make sure the strips don't fall down ?

How much is it with tax and shipping? Did it cost more than 4,000 dollars?
