Description

Bought the 380T last April when I moved to Australia and brought all my old components with me (i5-3570, Sapphire 280, SSD and HDD included in build). My old mobo died three weeks ago so I decided to do an overhaul.

I first purchased the new mobo, CPU and ram and reused my older components. My 280 just wasn't cutting it anymore and the MSI 970 went on sale on newegg so I picked it up. I originally mounted the H75 with both fans in the rear but it felt too tight and I just didn't like the overall look, moved it to the side with a single intake fan and it was great. But then I decided the case wasn't quite the look I wanted anymore and I purchased the five riing fans.

Added all the new fans today and was surprised temps on the 970 have decreased 5c just from the new setup.

I'm really happy with the build and have loved the 380t since I got it.

Really nice build! The fans look really great with the white 380T case. Awesome rig!

Pretty funny mate, it would appear our 970s would look better in each other's builds!

Those RIING fans look great inside of the 380T.

I wonder why I always like 380t builds

How are those fans?

Fantastic so far! Granted, it's only been a day, but I've been seeing lower temps with the GPU playing the same games (Rocket League, Arma III, WoW).

Using same mobo, nice rig, wish the build pics were available, delightful tiny pc indeed, thumbsup

I've got a few build pics with the old fans and my old GPU. But nothing step by step unfortunately.

+1

I want this case for a LAN build (not that I've done a LAN in years lol), this is similar to a plan I've laid out for one.

Where did you move to Australia from? And why is everything $0?

Moved to Australia from the US (Seattle). I put everything as $0 because I bought some stuff from the US and had it shipped, some locally at a shop here and a few things from internet retailers. I felt a bit lazy and didn't want to include the prices with shipping and exchange rate and all that.

Very cool. I love Seattle. Australia is on my list too!

Totally understand about the hassle there with pricing.

Actually it's quite warm in the little desk nook compared to the rest of the apartment. I was surprised too, the hottest I recall it getting (before installing the new fans) was last weekend playing The Division beta and it hit 40c on Core0 and about 35c on the other cores.
