Description

Primarily used as a gaming machine, everything seems to be working well. No real problems with this configuration so far. The 8-pin power connector for the video card did manage to have two pins wiggle out of their sockets because the plug wasn't put together properly. It caused the machine to sporadically reset several times.

Ghost in the Shell is one of my favorite bits entertainment ever. That's why the purple lights on the inside and I'm starting to look into finding a place to get this https://31.media.tumblr.com/cc8ff5ed42013df3f4fc32d6796c420e/tumblr_mxqonrrE4e1smcb0eo1_500.jpg printed out as a sticker\decal to put on the side panel.

Nice build, looking clean with the white case. Any plans to overclock?

Thanks! Not planning any overclocking right now, it's doing everything I want it beautifully as it is.

Did you have any clearance issues with the G-skill ram and CPU Cooler?

Nope. It fits right over the top. The only issue is that if I ever add more RAM I'm gonna have to take the CPU cooler off first.

Nice part choices, but work on that cable management a little more.

Other than that it looks good.

EDIT: The RAM is kinda pricey.

RAM is overpriced... Doesnt really matter what brand.

I didn't say anything about brand, I just said it wad kinda over priced.

Yeah, I probably could've waited on the RAM for a bit more of a price drop but I'm an incredibly impatient and impulsive person at times.

I could probably tuck some of those cables back a little better but the one from the PSU to the CUP plug isn't long enough to through the back and still reach :( my one real gripe with this motherboard.

Yeah I understand being impatient, especially for a great build like this :)

Oh I see, well if it's something that can't easily be helped than it's all good.

are you referring to the cable going over the GPU and CPU? i have same mobo that i'm about to build with. would the case have anything to do with it? or am i going to have to deal with the same? i'm going to use the CM Hyper 212 Evo cooler, wonder how that will look.

I think you replied to the wrong person.

You may have meant to reply to OP.

Yea, it's totally the case causing that problem. A smaller case even if it were just a couple of inches shorter would've completely eliminated that issue.
