Description

This build isn’t necessarily new, but I believe I have finally perfected it. I can have as many programs open as I desire, play any game at max 1080p with over 144fps, this thing is a beast. I really love my Ryzen processor & 5700xt, and the Thicc III is perfect for me with amazing temps, and silent fans. Most parts were bought last summer, when ram prices were insane & x370 was still a thing. Probably going to get an nvme SSD as this one is from a build back in 2012! Still works great after all these years.

Part Reviews

CPU

This thing is a beast, it’ll handle anything you throw at it.

CPU Cooler

Keeps my temps nice and cool! Make sure to change the fans out tho.

Motherboard

Wish I chose a better looking motherboard, back when I bought it, was advertised to support ryzen 2000 but I had to update it.

Memory

Decent ram, however finicky. Bought another kit to have 32g and wouldn’t run at 3000mhz! Besides that, I’ve got this kit at 3200mhz CL16 without issues and I’m sure I can push it further.

Storage

Held up great over the years, makes everything snappy

Storage

Got this for insanely cheap, pretty fast & reliable. No issues!

Video Card

I love this thing! Temps are amazing and fans are silent. They don’t even spin when you’re just browsing or not in a game.

Case

Love this case but the cable management is horrendous! They were nice enough to ship me the 101C free of charge because they were out of 101’s!

Power Supply

Nothing special, but may have to swap this out due to the lack of protections in the future

Monitor

Love this thing, colors are great, perfect for gaming

Keyboard

Got this pretty cheap, very clicky and satisfying, not much more to ask for!

Mouse

The shape of this thing relaxes my hand & palm.

Custom

Can make buzzing sounds with certain colors. Wouldn’t really recommend this

Custom

I cannot recommend this enough. DO NOT BUY FROM CABLEMOD!! These things are so cheap, and the quality is insane!! Awesome!!

Custom

Epic noise canceling, epic bass, epic sound.

Custom

Works great in my inwin case without removing the bottom fans, temps are fine. Would recommend!

What kind of temps does the 5700xt get once it's under load?

Sorry for the late reply. My card is vertical mounted so it'll get a bit warmer but around 70c
