CPU Clock Rate

3.5GHz

GPU Core Clock Rate

1.27GHz

Description

This is my first liquid cooling build. I took the Caselabs SMA8 and painted the interior glossy white with white LEDs. The fluid used is Mayhems Pastel Blue which adds a nice accent of color. I use this machine for a variety of things, mainly gaming and flight simulators. The i7 is overclocked to 4.5GHz, and the GPUs are both running a 170MHz boost. Stay tuned for Project Frost v2.0!

Insane! Why's the 24-pin unplugged?

crookz_n_castlez 6 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

That's for when you're trying to have the pump run by itself.

Minky7 3 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Ah, well as I said before this build is insane!

Op, you got to go hardline! It will look so clean especially you have such a great color scheme! Easy +1

What will 2.0 have? I don't think it's worth upgrading the processor- I have the same one. If you're going to upgrade to a 6700K I'd say wait. If you're upgrading GPU on the other hand, go ahead!

I love this build. It's amazing and beautiful.

11/10 should submit to TechSource's PC Wars. Job well done.

WaterTriber 2 points 18 months ago

looks good but you need individually sleeved cables in white or blue and white. +1 for the water cooling.

I am not a big fan of water-cooling and you chose not to try the rigid tubing but what you did do is make my jaw drop !

This is freaking BEAUTIFUL !

Normally, I am not a fan of computers that are $3,500 or up, because with that much money, an awesome computer is easy.

But man, this is so clean and nice, I had to +1

You can't buy creativity.

You could make this build look the same for half the cost, using lower end CPU/GPUs etc but at the end of the day the price of a computer does not affect how good it looks if someone puts the time in.

I +1'd the build and still got downvoted. Welcome to the Internet
