Description

Cooler was a little bit hard to install. My 3rd case i tried because the geraphics card is so huge. I am using the ssd as a boot drive and the other for games. And i don't like windows 8

This seems unique... aren't those 5 40mm fans on the GPU? I've heard it would be loud, but never a first hand account, so please share about that. Also are you using non-gaming applications that take advantage of the i7 and 16 GB of RAM?

The GPU is a little bit loud under load but it is not too bad. I do a little bit of video editing so i went 16gb ram and i7

If only it wasn't a three slot card, four could run SLI without airflow problems

Brettip103 submitter 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

I dont really need SLI. And i cant really afford it

This build is amazing! Sick Video card! Nice Job.

Looks really nice. Tell me when you go mental on the GPU.

Enlyten 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

Oh the sag... I would have liked to see a better Motherboard though.

Is the SSD quick

Brettip103 submitter 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

Not that fast. I dont think its worth what i paid

miniclipgamer 2 Builds 1 point 72 months ago

How come you gave your SSD 3 stars? Thats the monster of a GPU, taking up 3 slots, never seen anything like it.

Brettip103 submitter 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

I dont like the ssd bacause it doesnt seem like its much faster and it just filled up strait away. And the GPU is the biggest i could find :)

If you can't see a difference between a HDD and SSD, you most likely:

live in a world where everything is in slow motion

or

have a lemon SSD and is slow

You should definitely, if you haven't already, move all of your downloads and miscellaneous stuff you don't use often to your plenty big hard drive to clean up space on the SSD.

by any chance do you watch top gear?

Brettip103 submitter 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

yes

tylerfig 2 Builds 1 point 71 months ago

sorry lol that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the stig

jnewegger23 2 Builds 1 point 69 months ago

Just naming your rig "The Stig" got my vote! Nice setup! I read that you weren't happy with your SSD. I assume you've followed "must do" ssd checklists? If not, I recommend trying some of the tips and seeing what helps!

nice cable management

at that price point I would have gotten a better PSU

DjArtifact 0 points 72 months ago

Manage your cables and you'll have a nice looking build.

Brettip103 submitter 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago

The cable running over the side of the gpu to the second Motherboard power plug is too short and im not sure if i can get an extender? Anyone know if u can

NUclearD3 1 Build 1 point 72 months ago
