Description

I built my first custom computer. I used the power supply from my old PC as I had upgraded that and the GPU. Was a gr8 experience building this and this site was a real help. I initially went with a 500gb WU HDD but after reading some stuff on SSD's I spent the $100 on the Samsung 840 SSD 120gb and WOW was I amazed at the difference in performance. I had two LG227WTG Flatron's from my previous computer and I added the LG 27EA63V-P which i fell in love with while looking at monitors at Best Buy. Currently working on doing some overclocking to get this thing tweaked to max performance levels. Currently loving Windows 8 and my new system. Thanks again pcpartpicker.com and the community here for helping me build this.

It shouldn't move when you mess around with it. Either remount the cooler or tighten it down a bit more.

yea i thought it was odd that it moves like it does. Its just a center clip that hold it in place, kind of cheap and insecure any advice on how to secure it more?

A bit of work might be needed on the GPU / CPU cooler & Cable management, except that, decent build considering its price. Finally, if you want your PSU to breath you shouldn't leave your computer straight on the carpet, you should put some wood under it or some feet under the case.

I know my cable management inst the best but the Power supply has so many unnecessary cables there is non where for them to go. maybe ill upgrade the PS later

A modular PSU would be a good upgrade but the case could have helped in this matter as well, upgrade one of the two and you'll be good to go ;). Stuff most of it in the back if you can, that should be a first good step.

Wow, you should really align that cooler! If you don't, and you try any overclocking, your computer will burst into flames.
