This is my first build, but for some reason I never posted it.

For SSD originally had a Transcend SSD370 128GB, but my mom's chrome book broke, so I installed Chromixium(a linux distro) on an old laptop and gave her my Transcend. which while performing horribly in write, surprisingly went over advertised read specs after several runs at 80% used with Crystal Disk mark.

Re-purposing a 50" HD TV(not sure what that is in Metric), really great since my eye sight is already 20/75 with glasses.

Parts were amassed over time. This is the final price with S&H+Tax, and no mail in rebates added.

UPDATE: added a Team Vulcan 8GB(1x8GB) DDR3-1600 Thanks to Flex mode I have 2x4Gb in dual channel and1x8GB in single channel

NotePictures were taken before cleaning

Part Reviews

Keeps cool, highest temp was 43c under load at 4.2GHz, I keep it at 3.9GHz for now. Pretty sure I won the Silicon lottery thing with a PGS.

CPU Cooler

With the aftermarket thermal paste when I put it under the Intel burn mark test for 40 minutes never got to 40c.

Thermal Compound

Good stuff

Cannot say enough about the Ultra Durable series. I lost my grip on my screwdriver a few times, and slid the top across the Mobo kinda hard, not a single scratch, also got it open box on new egg. Almost went with a $50 Biostar, but did more research

Ram is ram. looking to get another (2x4GB) since 8GB is cutting it close(thanks chrome)unfortunately I bought too early when prices were sky high, and dropped like a month after the purchase.

Good stuff, love the red

Works great, fast, and would buy again

Mass storage, works like a charm, does make noise some times

Video Card

Works fine, been running a little hotter than it used to, but under several stress tests in a row it never broke 60c.

Wish I went with the Haf 912, but it was on sale, Cable management is almost non-existent.

Power Supply

TBH I almost got a really cheap Raidmax to cut costs, and this was on sale,l really wish I had gone modular, fun fact I spent 10 hours with Cable management only to realize my PSU was upside down.

Case Fan

Nice, but wish the LED's were brighter

I just completed a build (not posted yet) with this case, and I thought the cable management was good, not great, but adequate. From your pictures I'm going to say your cable problem is user error and not a fault of the case, but that is just my opinion.

No, not a user error, there is just very little room, and your opinion doesn't change that. If any part was my fault, it was due to getting a non-modular PSU. Though that isn't an issue as I now have an NZXT Phantom 410 which is much better.
