Description

So first off I want to apologies on the semi crappie pics I finished it up last night and just snapped a few. When I get home tonight I will take some more pics especially of the inside so you can see cable managment. I built this to replace my laptop / setting my self up for cheaper future upgradeing. My current laptop Is an asus rog g53w it's a great laptop but I had a laptop for college and now with my laptop being 4 years old now I need something new. So i built this thing really

So for the build everything went very smoothly, this was my first build so I took my time Double checked everything and the mobo manual became my bible. For the cable managment as I connected each card I tied and routed the cable accordingly. This saved me time and made the cable managment easy

parts for this build I went with these items because it was my birthday 4/25 I and I received about 700 bucks for my birthday so I went for performance with a budget. Cpu when can i say... has great oc potential a good processor for the pice

cooler: now this is the only part that passed me offi ordered it from amazon for 1 day shipping since for this item it was 3.95 and they pushed offthe arrival date until tomorrow! 5/2 so I am running with the stock cooler it ain't bad but it can be quite loud if my cooler comes tomorrow I will add pics

mobo: I will admit I am an asus fan boy my last 2 computers were asus read all the reviews and asus makes so great mobo with some nice features. One of the cool features on this one is it has a direct to bios button on it

ram:went with 8 gigs all i really needed

storage: went with the hybrid installed the os on the ssd

gpu: I spent the most time out of anything deciding on this.... i finally settled at the r9 280x and I am loving it currently playing ESO and the frame rate on ultra min at like 57

Case: love this case amazing for cable managment it comes with 3 fans I will be ordering more down the road with the next pay check. Has tons of fan configuration it has ample space and lips for cable mangement. Has a built in fan controller I only have 2 cons for the case 1. It is a huge tower it says it's a MID Tower Case but man is it big 2. The rubber grommets it the case has on the house for cable management suck... still one cable through there and the come off on all sides.

power: 80+ semi modular pretty decent

optical drive: it runs discs...

really looking forward to wildstar and playing it on this machine

Good build that doesn't break the bank. Funny picture of the cat. Looks like you caught him/her on surprise... lol. Just make sure you keep him/her away from your wires, especially the mouse. ;)

Great build man! How is the case? I'm thinking of upgrading to a white 410

i love the case, but it is huge but as far as cable management goes it is a breeze there are countless numbers of lips on the back to zip tie cables to, the only thing i hate are the rubber guards stick any cord through there and the rubber guard comes off but other than that its amazing

Nice! I had my heart set on the gtx 780 but with its price it was out of my build budget so I decided to wait until Xmas to get it
