Description

I built this system to game and to render home movies etc .... I actually built 2 of them, one of them was for my brother. Same identical hardware. No issues with his build, however, mine was tough. System hung and at times it would go into a reboot loop. After a week of troubleshooting, I found that one of the 8GB Ballistix Sport memory module would fail, not all of the time just sometimes, making the system unstable. I replaced the memory Mushkin and am now waiting to comes of it.

When the system runs, it runs blazing fast.

The airflow seems fine and I like the variable fans settings on side. I have not done any "over clocking" yet, I want to make sure I have a stable PC. The temps are around 28 - 31 degrees C.

Nice! sucks about that RAM though :(

How do you like that case? How's the airflow? I recommended this to someone based off my experience with the R4 and I want to be sure I didn't make a bad one haha

Put the two SSDs in the bottom cage and remove the first cage for better airflow. Nice build overall.

Wow, great build. Is the two ssd's in raid 0?

Often the Crucial Ballistics sport RAM needs to have the voltage bumped up to be stable at stock speeds...it tries to run at 1.5v, but isn't always stable there.

I personally would've went with a high end air cooler over the single 120 closed loop, but that's just personal preference.

Nice looking build!

Are you running the EVO's in a raid 0?
