I made this computer with several things in mind; programming, gaming and having multiple applications open without the system freezing (like the previous laptop I had). It works very well, and I have not run into any problems yet. It can also play resource-demanding games such as Planetside 2 and Rocket League no bother. The only regret I have about this build is not future-proofing it whatsoever. I also still have yet to cable manage it.

Part Reviews

An alright motherboard, does its job. Definitely will upgrade it in the future.

A bit loud, nevertheless a great 1TB HDD for a cheap enough price.

Good case, has a simplistic yet great looking design.

Optical Drive

There is never really much to say about these.

I can't really tell from the picture, but it looks like you can run some of your power supply cables through the back of your case. This will make your computer look much better and have better air flow. If you can I think it's worth it. Otherwise a quality build.

Not bad, decent budget build with some umph to it. SSD upgrade in the future will pretty much complete the whole picture. Needs some more pics but aside from that its pretty good for your first build. +1

Why an unlocked processor on a B85 board?

I got the board years ago with other things in mind... I'm upgrading it soon though.
