Description

I started with a rough idea. I took my time in purchasing the entire build. I started in November and finished in April. I left room for improvement but i also made myself semi future proof for a while. i spent the big bucks on the parts that mattered most. So in the end i made an enthusiast/budget build.

I went for one of the best haswell refresh processors out there. At some point i will upgrade Mobo memory and cpu to skylake.

i started with a 650w 80 + gold psu but i realized that i would be pushing the 80% threshold that psu's shouldn't really run over.

I will eventually get some more storage but i had left over hdds from previous laptops and computers.

The intel AIO cooler was an interesting buy in the fact that i really didn't see a whole lot of negative reviews on it but there wasn't many reviews period. In the end given the space i have in the case and the amount of cooling, the cooler was great buy.

Now onto the case, i bought the case first as i had seen to many places that things quite often did not fit correctly for people. So early in my research i didn't scrutinize everything about the case that i should have. There are led bleeds between the plastic bezels. the window is an L and shows mostly drive bays. There is essentially no place for any radiators over 120 or 140mm. There are just a lot of unclean edges. Now i digress because given the aesthetic issues this case with its 3 included 200mm fans and the placement of those fans this cases cooling potential is actually very good.

My wireless from intel was actually a part i salvaged from my laptop and really don't plan on using unless i take my build somewhere that i can't hard wire.

The fan controller literally only because i wanted a drive bay with with something in it and i had more fans the motherboard spaces. Also i found that even while running a 200mm fan on high its still pretty quiet so the control through mobo was not necessary because i didn't mind running them on full all the time.

Monitor was my last purchase and i must say i went out with a bang this monitor is the boss period.

It might be. it came with some adapters. But i dont know if it would make sense for intel to build an AIO thats AMD compatible.
